CHÂTEAU GOLAN Winery
Our story began in 1996 when the Ribak family from Eliad, planted 32 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot on their farm located in Southern Golan Heights.
About three years later, in 1999 together with Shuki Shay, the family established a small winery on their land and produced their first 7000 Cabernet Sauvignon bottles.
For the 2000 vintage, they decided to bring in an expert from overseas to help out. At this stage the crop had grown to 20 tons of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes.
